YORK Label was formed in March 2006 with the merger of York Label Holdings, Inc. and Industrial Label Corporation (ILC).  The company is now one of the top pressure sensitive label converters in North America.

The former York Label Holdings was founded in 1947 and is based in York, PA.  The York facility is a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels for the consumer products, entertainment, financial, and medical diagnostic markets.  The former ILC was founded in 1961 and has two facilities based in Omaha, NE where the YORK Label corporate office is also located.  The Omaha facilities specialize in supplying labels to the food, beverage and consumer products industries.

In November 2006, YORK Label acquired LSK Label Company of Eldorado Hills, CA.  Founded in 1974, LSK has become the leading label supplier of high quality, custom pressure sensitive labels to the wine industry.

In December 2006, YORK Label acquired the Asheville, NC production facility of Quality Assured Label.  In operation since 1992, the Asheville facility specializes in converting labels for the personal care and household goods markets.

Combined, these four companies currently form the third largest producer of prime, pressure sensitive labels in North America, YORK Label.
